Microblading Process

Days 1-4:

You may be loving them or even feeling like the change is too much and they are darker and more intense that you had expected or wanted. This is a normal feeling and be assured that they lighten about 30% and the results become softer looking.

Day 5-6

Sometimes scabs may or may not form. They will be itchy and dry, so apply a thin layer of the healing ointment as needed. DO NOT itch them! And if you pull the skin off, it will be obvious to your technician with the results because of the poor healing and premature shedding. If you need to just lightly tap on them. The end result of picking is very patchy brows, so do not pick or itch them!

Days 7-10

If you do end up with some scabbing it will be coming off at this point or already have come off. Underneath it may look ashy or the pigment may be completely gone, but hang in there! Just because all the scabs are gone DOES  NOT mean they are through healing.

Days 14-21

If the lines disappeared, this is when you will start to see them reappear and become more defined and less ashy. Still treat your eyebrows with care and be patient please! It is most definitely worth it, I promise!

Day 30

You’re all done!! Yay!! Now that you are all healed, you are all ready to go in for a touch-up to fill in any areas that are needing to be filled in. By this point you are going to be absolutely head over heels in love with your Dreamy Brows and are very pleased with your decision to get them done!

How often do I need a microblading touch-up?

Everyone is different but most people will need a touch-up every year. Certain factors may allow for the results to last longer or fade out more quickly.

Factors include: sun exposure, oily skin, medications, and skin care.

Does Microblading effect my natural eyebrow hair?

Not at all! Microblading looks best when its used in combination with the natural hair that you have. It in no way effects natural hair growth.

Please avoid waxing and tweezing beforehand, because I will be able to determine the best shape with what you already do have.

Am I a good canidate for microblading?

What makes a good candidate for microblading depends on your expectations, your skin and how you take care of it. Oily skin is not going to hold the pigment well and may require more frequent touch-ups. If you are in the sun a lot, this can drastically fade your eyebrows and it’s highly encouraged to wear sunscreen at all times. The sun can even effect the color of the pigement over time.

If you exercises often, and sweat a lot do your best to keep the sweat away from your brows as the salt in the sweat can cause blurring of the lines and fading.

Microblading is great because it helps the need to fill in eyebrows in the morning and can boost your confidence! However, do keep in mind if will become a yearly maintenance to keep them on point.

Does permanent makeup/microblading hurt?

This is the most commonly asked question when considering permanent makeup/microblading services. All people are different when it comes to pain. However numbing cream is applied 20 minutes prior to the service, and additional numbing is added during the service. This will keep you as comfortable as possible.

After the procedure it can feel like a mild sunburn. Nothing unbearable at all.

How long does the procedure take?

The whole procedure takes about 2 hrs. This includes filling out paperwork, discussing your desired result, measuring and shaping of the eyebrows, and the numbing process. The actual Microblading takes about 30 minutes of that 2 hrs.
